The Moorish influence of the area is very apparent in the architecture with exceptionally large rooms, high vaulted ceilings and alcoves displaying beautiful lighting effects. Specially commissioned artworks complimenting the decor combined with the architecture to give an overall effect of stunning understated elegance.

There are 5 luxury air-conditioned bedroom suites which accommodate ten and a separate cottage with twin bedroom and a sofabed in the living area. The five luxury air-conditioned bedroom suites all have superbly comfortable hand made beds and the finest Egyptian linen, an en suite bath, shower room, or both, with hairdryer and complimentary Molton Brown toiletries. All bedrooms have ample built-in wardrobes and a personal security safe.

The Entrance hall, part of which was the original mill, still houses the old grinding wheel for the olives, the indentation created by the toil of the mule turning the wheel can still be seen on the adjacent wall.

The Salon is dominated by a cathedral like vaulted beamed ceiling from which suspends a stunning Moorish lamp. Decorated in natural colours there are three enormous, opulent sofas, a large screen television with SKY TV. There is an impressive dining table made from cherry wood which can comfortably seat 14.

The kitchen and breakfast room lead off from the Salon and are well equipped for entertaining with a Falcon Elan range cooker, 2 dishwashers, 2 American fridge freezers, a larder fridge, a walk in pantry plus all the necessary kitchen equipment.

The Cinema has a drop down screen which can play Spanish Freeway or DVD's and three comfortable leather sofas, air-conditioning and an electric piano for your own entertainment.

WIFI Internet broadband in the office with computer and printer, as well as a WIFI access in each bedroom for personal computers.

There is airconditioning in all bedrooms of the main house and cinema, and central heating throughout.

There is also a well equipped laundry room with 2 washing machines and a tumble dryer, plus an infant cot, buggy and high chair available.

Outside Facilities
The Molino has a 12.5 x 6.5 metre infinity pool which can be heated during winter months for an extra charge. Also, a fantastic full size professional all-weather tennis court, games room and a terrace bar. There are tennis rackets and plenty of balls for use on the tennis court and also a small pool table, table tennis table and exercise bike.

The terraces surround three sides of the Molino and are set amongst gardens of palm and olive trees. There are a combination of open and covered areas to cater for both shade and sunbathing, ample sun-loungers and comfortable patio furniture to relax on plus four huge sun parasols, a large exterior table for al fresco dining, an American BBQ and an exterior shower and cloakroom.

Alongside the pool is the Bamboo Bar the ideal place for a cooling cocktail.

The property is gated.

All extras such as chefs, waitresses, chauffeurs, babysitters, catering can be arranged on request through the housekeeper who is German/Swiss and speaks English, Spanish and German fluently. Extra requirements will be costed once clients' requirements are known.

All linen and towels provided.

No telephone connection, but reception for mobile/cell phones is good.

Local Area
Ten minutes drive from the Molino is the village of Gaucin a classic white village of Andalucia with an interesting history dating back to pre Roman times. The views from the village are probably the most stunning in southern Europe with vistas of 2 continents and 3 countries across the Genal Valley to Gibraltar, Morocco and the Riff mountains.

Gaucin has both European and Spanish restaurants, local bars, 2 banks, gift shops, a chemist, petrol station and 3 mini supermarkets all in an almost totally unspoiled Spanish village setting.

Local activities in the village include many local fiestas and festivals along with horse riding, bird watching and nature walks.

30 minutes from the Molino is the coast of Costa del Sol and numerous golf courses, Marbella is one hours drive as is the ancient town of Ronda with its spectacular gorge and famous bull ring.

The Molino is 1 hour 30 mins. from Malaga airport and 1 hour from Gibraltar airport.

Activities available locally are walking, trekking, tennis and riding. Painting classes, yoga, thai chi are also all available. Sports activities for children, such as tennis lessons, specific walks, football and riding can be arranged.

Directions
There are many direct flights to Malaga from the UK. It is about a two hour drive to Gaucin and El Molino. Clients are given directions and maps, as well as a contact phone number. Airport collection can be arranged but car high is highly recommended.

Pool can be heated for an extra charge of €uros 300 per week in the off season only.
