The Royal Spa Villa is a 350 square metre penthouse situated at the highest point of the complex with absolutely stunning 180° views. It is built on two levels; the first floor consists of a huge open plan area incorporating a sitting room with a Swedish style open fire, a large dining table and a study. It has floor to ceiling windows and is filled with light, and has been beautifully furnished.

There is a separate kitchen, which is equipped with every modern convenience. The four bedrooms are downstairs, all have ensuite bathrooms with jacuzzis. Each bedroom is decorated in a different colour scheme, and is unique, it would be hard to choose the most beautiful!

A fully equipped gym featuring treadmill, multi-machine, exercise bike and abdominal lower-back benchis also available. The equipment, the wall-to-wall mirrors and the Satellite TV create a perfect.

Luxury by design, the Villa has its own private sauna room, the perfect place for relaxing after a long day under the Greek sun. This villa truly is the height of luxury.

Outside Facilities
The Royal Spa Villa has a stunning swimming pool that stretches in an arc (16 x 4.5m) around the large terrace with panoramic 180º views. It also has a large deck area plus a garden with a traditional BBQ area and exterior kitchen. This villa has its own private entrance and parking area.

The pool is seasonally heated, and has two inbuilt Jacuzzi tubs, which are also heated. The villas have lovely terraces with tables and chairs for al fresco dining, as well as sun loungers around the pool. Beautiful urns and well tended gardens all add to the ambience.

Local Area
Elounda is a small resort with some of the best and most exclusive hotels on the island. It has many interesting boutiques, bars and restaurants and a pretty little harbour and is only about a five minute drive from the villas. The surrounding area is very beautiful and it is worth driving up the coast through the small villages until you get to Plakka. From here there is a boat trip over to the fascinating island of Spinalonga which was once a leper colony. The views down the bay towards Aghios Nikolaos are stunning.

From Elounda there is bridge over to an islet which is fun to explore and there are also the remains of an ancient sunken city at the site where you can snorkel with beautiful crystal clear waters. Aghios Nikoloas is about a twenty minute drive away, and is the largest resort in the east of the island. It is a great place to visit with a wealth of lovely shops and restaurants, as well as some lively nightlife.

An exploration inland is recommended, especially a drive to the Lasithi plateau which is reached by a stunning mountain drive. Facilities such as windsurfing, lasers and waterskiing, as well as a private beach, restaurant, bars and tennis courts are sometimes available for use at one of the lovely hotels in the Elounda area.

The reception is open throughout the day and the owner and staff are extremely helpful and will do anything they can to make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable. There is an "A La Carte" restaurant on site serving international and mediterranean cuisine and a lounge bar. The complex also offers the Elixir Spa Gallery that has a fully equipped gym, sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi. Use of this gym is free for guests.

Directions
You can fly directly to Iraklion on charter flights from the UK. This is the easiest and quickest option, but alternatively fly to Athens and then take an internal flight from there. Athens to Crete is about a forty minute flight. From the airport, it is about a 45 minute drive to Elounda. Either take a taxi, or, alternatively pick up a hire car. We are also able to pre-book a transfer to the villas if clients wish. It is a very straightforward journey on the motorway. Maps, directions and contact phone numbers will be given. Clients are met at reception.
