South Point Villa is approx. 6000 sq feet in area. This spacious three bed room villa is elegantly furnished
with modern and classical furniture. It is simple and extremely comfortable. A large open plan living dining
room leads out onto a wooden deck. Wonderful views to the ocean.
Master Bedroom: This is a large and spacious room with a lovely view of the ocean. Large sliding windows
open out onto the garden. There is a king size four poster bed draped with mosquito nets, boarded teak
floor. cable TV, air conditioning & fan. Ensuite large spacious bathroom with wooden vanity counters, his and
her wash basins and a rainfall shower.
Sea View room: This bedroom has a spectacular view of the ocean, with two large queen size four poster
beds draped with mosquito nets. Large sliding windows open out onto the wooden deck, boarded wooden
floor, cable TV, air conditioning & fan. Large bathroom with his and her wash basins. Rainfall shower of
approx 200 square feet in area.
Pond Room: Delightful room which overlooks a carp pond with beautiful water lilies and water plants, a large
king size four poster bed draped with mosquito nets. Cable TV, air conditioning & fan. Attached large
bathroom with his and her wash basins approx 200 square feet in area. Rainfall shower with hot and cold
water.
Outside Facilities
Verandah / Deck
The spacious deck and verandah is furnished with comfortable chairs in which to relax and a table for
leisurely meals. Sitting on the verandah or deck looking at the dancing waves breaking over distant reefs
during the day. At night, gazing at twinkling lights of fishing boats out at sea at night and sometimes spotting the moving lights of
divers under water searching for lobster and crab or just watching the stars. From here, one can watch
fishermen going out to sea to return with laden boats. Guests can purchase fresh fish direct from boats for
the chef to prepare.
The Garden
A well laid out garden with groves of trees and mangroves and secluded areas in which to sunbath, write, read or just relax.
Excellent fresh water swimming pool with views to the ocean. The lawn leads straight on to the beautiful white sandy beach. Traditional Sri Lankan fishing boats rest on the sand and the stilt fishermen can often be seen in the evenings. This garden with its comfortable lounge chairs has a fantastic view of the ocean.

Six resident staff to pamper you. The staff are friendly and courteous, discreet yet attentive.
The Chef excels in fine dining and seafood preparations. There is also a Housekeeper, Maid, Houseboy,
Gardener, Night watchman and a Supervisor to ensure a happy holiday.
Local Area
A 20-minute drive will take you to the historic city of Galle where the 17th century Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is located. Explore the well preserved buildings from the Dutch period, the maze of narrow roads lined with quaint houses, a growing collection of art galleries, antique shops and restaurants. There are several fine beaches in the area, including Unawatuna and Mirissa, which also offer a variety of water sports. Day trips are also possible to the Sinharajah Rainforest and Yala National Park.
Directions
By air to Sri Lanka, to Bandaranayake International Airport. We will then arrange for you to be met and driven to the villa, a journey of about 3 1/2 hours. |
