Set amongst lush gardens with mature fruit trees, palm trees and flowering shrubs and the gardens are surrounded by ancient olives and cork oaks, This spectacular property is set against the imposing Sierra Bermeja mountains which provide the most spectacular backdrop. This recently renovated mansion is made up of the main house, a guest apartment and independent casita (guesthouse) with 10 bedrooms in all, offering plenty of space for 2-3 families, either sharing the main facilities or using the 3 kitchens independently, with 10,000m2 of private grounds. Set in the picturesque "La Acedia" valley close to the hilltop village of Casares, a 15/20 minute drive inland from the Costa del Sol, this property provides just about everything you could want for leisure and pleasure.
El Paraiso is completely private and cannot be overlooked. A perfect holiday home for special gatherings, parties, ideal for entertaining, or indeed country weddings, with plenty of space for a large marquee for up to 150 people.

Accommodation Details Completed in the 1980s but completely renovated in 2008, the following accommodation is available:
There are ten bedrooms in all and the house is laid out as follows:
A very large master bedroom and 9 further bedrooms or 4 bed main house with self-contained 2/3 bedroom guest apartment and separate independent 3 bedroom guesthouse.
There is one master bedroom with a Superking bed and the other 6 Superking or Kingsize beds can all be split into singles to make twin bedrooms. Then there are 3 further bedrooms with sofabeds.

The mainhouse (sleeps 12) has 6 bedrooms - 1 Master bedroom, 3 further bedrooms where the beds can be separated into twin beds and then there are two further full size sofabedrooms.
The apartment (sleeps 4) has 2 bedrooms - one bedroom where the bed can be separated into twin beds and the other one is a sofabedroom.
The guesthouse (sleeps 4) has 2 bedrooms where the beds can be separated into twin beds.

Outside Facilities Outside, El Paraiso has a generous 10 metre by 10 metre solar-heated swimming pool as well as a Jacuzzi and outdoor shower. Children can lose themselves in the enchanting gardens playing on the slide and little playhouse whilst the grown-ups can entertain on any of the four barbecues.
The villa also has a health suite with a 12 metre by 3.5 metre heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and a selection of gym equipment.
There is so much space for children to play in this natural playground. There is a river flowing alongside the property which is very rare in this part of Andalucia. The lush gardens are fed by the river.
This villa is completely private and cannot be overlooked. A perfect holiday home for special gatherings, parties, ideal for entertaining, or indeed country weddings, with plenty of space for a large marquee for up to 150 people.

Services WiFi internet access, a mobile telecommunications booster and an emergency power supply, which in the unlikely event of a cut, will guarantee that residents are kept in touch with the outside world.
Prices include all linen and towels, welcome pack and maidservice of pre- and after- cleaning and in case of a stay of two
weeks or more a midweek clean.
All extra services are available - full maid service (approx 12.50 euros per hour), breakfast can be included, chef, driver/chauffeur – prices on application.
If groceries are required, a shopping list needs to be in our possession one week
before arrival. Shopping will be done at cost of € 30, payable locally on arrival.
Prices do not include heating of the indoor pool and use of the Jacuzzi and sauna. Heating the pool € 150 per week, Jacuzzi and Sauna each 75 € per week . Use of the Jacuzzi and Sauna can also be charged at electricity costs. Meter read on arrival/departure and charged at 15 cents per unit, all payable locally.
Local Area In this case rural does not mean remote as the coast is just 15/20 minutes away by car and the closest golf course is only 15 mins drive away. Only 15/20 minutes drive from Casares, which is one of the best known of the white hilltop Andalucian villages, and a little further afield is Gaucin.
The property is well placed to explore the region with the wonderful towns and cities of Ronda, Seville, Malaga & Marbella within striking distance. Sotogrande, with its golf courses, polo, yachting marina, excellent restaurants and upmarket, fun and lively atmosphere is within 20 mins drive.
The nearest beaches:
There are really nice beaches in the area, especially Casares Playa which is the closest (15 mins drive). There is also a lovely gentle beach by Puerto Duquesa, only about 20 minute's drive from El Paraiso. Estepona has miles of flat sandy beaches with a very long sea-front and promenade. Several excellent childrens' playgrounds and play areas along the sea-front. There are more very good beaches towards Gibraltar, and of course the miles and miles of spectacular white sandy beaches and dunes the other side of Tarifa - one of the best kite-surfing and windsurfing locations in the world.
Activities:
Golf: Finca Cortes in Casares. This is the closest golf course to the villa (9 kms), so a great opportunity to have a fabulous holiday and enjoy a World Class Golf course.
Dolphin watching tours in the Straits of Gibraltar, from various ports in the area.
Selwo Safari park in Estepona.
Or spend a day in Tarifa, in the town for lunch and then enjoy the amazing while sandy beaches and sand dunes.
A day trip to Tangiers for a flavour of Africa in just one day. Tarifa to Tangiers is only 35 mins by ferry.
Jet skiing and just about every water sport is available in the Mediterranean.
Directions By air to Malaga airport, 1 hour's drive away or Gibralter airport, about 45 mins drive. |
