The fully fitted kitchen has a cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and ample kitchenware and crockery to cater for every occasion. The kitchen has a large dining table with seating for eight.

Immediately outside is the grapevine-covered patio with dining table and seating for a further twelve people. Adjacent to the kitchen, the laundry room is complete with washer, dryer, large drinks refrigerator and deep freeze.

A winding staircase leads up to the first floor. The master bedroom is large and comfortable with a king sized bed and shower room en suite with hairdryer. Double doors open onto an outside private patio with spectacular views of the beautiful gardens, surrounding fields and the sea in the distance.

The other two bedrooms are on this floor, one with twin beds, plenty of cupboards and another private patio overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. All bedrooms have their own en suite shower rooms with hairdryers.

There is an attached casita, or annexe, accommodating two people, with one double bedroom and bathroom. The Casita is like a small cottage attached to the house. Built of stone with red spanish tiled roof, it has its own entrance, and large sliding glass doors open out to the alfresco dining terrace and BBQ area of teh main house. There is an open plan lounge/kitchen and satellite TV. The double bedroom and en suite shower room have large windows opening out to the gardens. There are fans, but no airconditioning in this building.

Villa Calonge has gas fired central heating and air-conditioning, electric gates, a photo-electric security system, underground electricity supply, safe mains water with a reserve water tank cistern, satellite TV. (Sky analogue - clients need to bring their own card), VCR, CD player and cassette system piped to all the rooms on the ground floor, telephone and facsimile.

Two fridges were perfect - one for the food and one for the drinks & wine - what more could a girl ask for !!! The day arrived and we all sat down to breakfast under that vine covered terrrace that I had imagined for months beforehand with the sun shining over the lovely garden and pool. With balloons, streamers and birthday banners all around me I was completely spolit by all of my friends and family. The pool became the centre of attention during the day and another thing that the magic of the place achieved was that my gorgeous mother has never been able to swim. She has had lessons but was still scared. We have been to other places and she has tried bravely to have a go, but still no success until she came to stay here. By the end of the week not only was she swimming at the shallow end where she could still touch the bottom but she was swimming unaided the full length of the pool - marvellous - Mummy at 71 a swimmer at last !!!! Outside Facilities
In the grounds there are almond and lemon groves, tomato vines, a dovecote, and around the house a luxuriant formal country garden of lawns, plants and roses. Grapes hang heavy (in season) over the patio dining table, providing shade for alfresco lunches.

The barbecue is set among sage, thyme and rose bushes adjacent to the patio and garden loungers. A garden swing hangs from the bough of a large pepper tree. Old farm carts and carriages are dotted around the place, and giant olive oil pots and cartwheels add to the ambiance. An old well lies redundant in the garden - the house now has a mains water supply! The beautiful 11m x 6m swimming pool is not overlooked and is fenced off for the safety of small children. There is exercise equipment in the pool house for that early morning workout. Darts and table tennis will help to keep the children amused.
